A woman recently picked up a pedestrian who had been hit by a drunk driver from the side of the road, put him in her car and then drove him to the hospital. “Aw, that’s nice,” you might think. Think again. The same woman is the person who had hit the 22-year-old student at the University of New Hampshire. She then lied about it, claiming she had just found him on the side of the road and was being a good Samaritan.

38-year-old Michelle Blain was driving her Toyota Rav 4 when she hit the victim, Hieu Nguyen. She then put him in her car and transported him to a nearby hospital. Nguyen had no recollection of the accident, but was luckily not critically injured. He was released from the hospital the same day he was hit after being treated for minor injuries.

Now Blain is facing charges of negligent driving, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and unsworn falsification and conduct after an accident. She could lose her license for a year and a half in addition to other punishments. To top off the whole series of bad decisions by Blain, she had a 27-year-old man come to pick her up from the police station. He showed up drunk and was arrested for drunk driving as well.
