Something inside of the van ignited causing a massive explosion engulfing the vehicle in flames. At the time of explosion, three occupants jumped out of the van also covered in flames. The woman and two men were transported to Harborview Medical Center to receive immediate medical attention for their severe burns.

These three occupants may have been irreparably injured with burns from the accident. Vans bursting into flames is not common, and it is not known yet how this accident happened, or why there were three people in the van.
